Gastro-Rallye Snacky
Snacky - the tour with bite
Being such a culturally diverse city means Berlin has an incredibly global food scene. We’ll explore the imbiss (snack) culture of the Prenzlauer Berg neighbourhood in all its international culinary glory as you eat and learn about the history of this atmospheric neighbourhood, which has been constantly evolving since the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Gentrification has its advantages and one of those is the food. We show you the area’s best coffee shops, where you discover the life force of the creative scene; a subversive Indian kitchen that literally turns McDonald’s on its head; the Vietnamese food culture that came to the former GDR in the 1960’s, incredible local pastry shops as well as sampling the delights of Berlin’s famous curry wurst. Sign up for a snack tour and discover the vibe of Berlin´s boho-chic area in East Berlin!
